Endometriosis is a disease that lots of people have. 

It usually hurts in your lower belly but it can hurt in other places too. 

It does not always hurt all the time. The hurt can come and go. 

Here is a list of some of the symptoms of endometriosis.

  • Pain in your lower belly or lower back. Sometimes the pain is worse when you are having your period
  • Pain when you are having sex or pain after you have had sex
  • Pain when you are having a pee or poo
  • Not being able to poo (constipation) or having runny poo (diarrhoea)
  • Feeling sick
  • Having blood in your pee while you are having your period
  • Aching legs
  • Not being able to get pregnant
  • Feeling tired a lot

Having bad symptoms can make you feel sad or worried. If you have bad symptoms you should tell your doctor. Your doctor might want to do tests to find out if you have endometriosis. There is an easy read page about the tests your doctor might do to find out if you have endometriosis.
